Please read these terms of service ("terms", "terms of service", “ToS”) carefully. The website (https://bitbolide.com) (“website”) is operated by ‌‌‌‌Bitbolide Inc. (“we”, “us” or “our”), a Canadian corporation for customers residing in Canada. By accessing or using our site and our services, you hereby agree to be bound by the terms and all terms incorporated herein by reference. It is the responsibility of you to read the terms and conditions before proceeding to use this site. “You” is defined as the user or the customer (such as student or instructor). If you do not expressly agree to all of the terms and conditions then please do not access or use our site or our services. This terms of service agreement is effective as of 02 of March 2020.

  1. Condition of Use:

    We will provide services to you, which are subject to the conditions stated below in this document. Every time you visit this website, use its services or make a purchase, you accept the following conditions. This is why we urge you to read them carefully.

    1. Authorized Users of the Platform

      The content of the platform is accessible based on the type of user. The users of the service can be categorized in the following groups:

      1. Students: Students who are using the service with a personal or institutional subscription. The content of the platform is only available to students who are enrolled in the applicable course for the duration of the semester or otherwise indicated in the availability section of the note.

      2. Professional users:Instructors, professors or other professional staff authorized by the institution. These users have the permission to “create”, “modify” or “review” the contents based on their role.

      We have the rights to terminate or change the users access to the platform’s content. The contents are subjected to copyright and which is further explained in section 4.

    2. Unauthorized Users of the Platform

      Any non-institutional users and competitors are not authorized to use the service unless it is agreed by a written consent. Monitoring, benchmarking and evaluating platforms’ performance is not allowed by any user or visitor to the website.

  2. User Registration and Enrollment

    In order to use any feature of the platform, the user must register on the website. The on-site registration requires the user’s name, email address. For the purpose of registration, the platform only accepts the institutional email provided by the university or college. An email confirmation will be sent to the user’s email to finish the registration process. By creating an account the user acknowledges that the information provided is accurate and up-to-date. The platform does not audit and verify the information. The process and storage of personal information is subjected to the terms of our Privacy Policy.

    1. Modify Personal information:The user can change the password associated with their account. This can be done by following the instructions on the “Forgot my password” page under the “Registration” page. The user is not able to change the institutional email linked to their account or delete their profile on the platform. If you have any questions please contact us at support@bitbolide.com.

    2. Course Enrollment:Students are able to get access to the course content by purchasing the “Note(s)” under “Common Resources”. It is your responsibility to purchase the appropriate “Note(s)”, the fees are non-refundable. If you have any questions contact our support at support@bitbolide.com. Upon purchase, the payment information is subjected to the terms of our Privacy Policy. After completing the purchase, the course content will be available in“My Notes” under the “Navigation” tab.

  3. Privacy Policy

    Before you continue using our service we advise you to read our Privacy Policy regarding our user data collection. It will help you better understand our practices.

  4. Copyright

    Content published on this website (digital downloads, images, texts, graphics, logos) is the property of Bitbolide Inc. and protected by international copyright (“copyright”) laws. Any duplication or sharing the content of the platform on other online platforms, websites, online storage is illegal and is subjected to copyright. We have the right to terminate or suspend the account who violates our copyright. If you believe your intellectual property rights have been violated, you should provide us the followings:

    1. A description of the copyright work or other intellectual property that you believe has been infringed upon.
    2. Your physical address, telephone number, and email address.
    3. A statement in which you state that the alleged and dispute use of your work is not authorized by the copyright owner or the law.
    4. And finally, a statement made under penalty of perjury, that the aforementioned information in your notice is truthful and accurate, and that you are the copyright or intellectual property owner, representative or agent authorized to act on the copyright or intellectual property owner’s behalf.

    If you are in Canada and use our service, this agreement is to be constructed under the law of the Province of Ontario. Both Bitbolide and user agree that they are subjected to exclusive jurisdiction of the court of Ontario.

When we do we will post a notification on the main page of our Website. Continued use of the Website after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.
